Fully Customizable Automated Canned Response

Finally! The ability to craft an automated response, to an email we receive, within filters.

This only works if your domain admin has “labs” turned on, and you have the lab called “Canned Responses” turned on (and a template, or “canned response”, created)

Once both those are on, you can create a filter for incoming email, and now at the bottom of the list of what you can do with that email is a BRAND NEW ONE: “Send canned response”.

This will allow you to reply to an email automatically (much like an “out of office” auto-response) and tailor it to a specific recipient or characteristic of the incoming email.

Let the automation begin.
